- 6 c. potatoes
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion (optional)
- 3 c. top milk
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- pepper to taste
Directions

1Slice potatoes.

2Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk. Place half of potatoes in a greased casserole and cover with half of the sauce and seasonings.

3Repeat.

4Cover and bake at 375° for 1 hour.

5Uncover and continue baking until top forms a brown crust and potatoes are done.
