- 2 bunches spinach or turnip greens
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Wash and chop greens.

2Bring water and a pinch of salt to boil.

3Add greens and cook until tender.

4Drain and squeeze all the water out.

5In a frying pan melt butter.

6Add flour, salt and pepper.
-
7Stir; add greens and mix well for about 1 minute.

8Serve hot with meat or fish dishes.
