Ingredients

  • 3 oz Bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 oz Unsweetened chocolate
  • 3/4 stick (6 TBS) Butter, margarine (if using margarine with salt, eliminate salt in recipe) or 5-6 TBS extra LIGHT olive oil
  • 3/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1-3 tsp Vanilla ( I like vanilla so I use 3)
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1/8- 1/2 tsp salt (I use little)
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips

    Preheat oven to 350.

    Butter and flour 8x8 pan.

    Melt together both chocolates and butter or margarine. (if using oil, add after chocolates are melted) Let cool slightly.

    Whisk in sugar and vanilla until smooth. Add one egg at a time, whisking until batter is glossy each time.

    Stir in flour and salt, then chips until combined.

    Pour into pan and bake for 25- 30 minutes. May want to check after 20 minutes.
