  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 c. all-purpose flour or cake flour
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon extract (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Combine and sift all dry ingredients together.
  4. 4
    Add dry ingredients and sour cream to creamed mixture.
  5. 5
    Add flavoring to mixture.
