Ingredients
- 2 c. Minute instant whole grain brown rice (uncooked)
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 3/4 lb. flank steak, cut into thin strips
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 each: medium green and red pepper, sliced
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 2 Tbsp. lime juice
Directions

1Prepare rice as directed on package, omitting margarine and salt.

2Heat oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat.

3Add meat, onion and garlic.

4Cook and stir until meat is browned.

5Add peppers.

6Cook and stir until tender-crisp.

7Stir in water, soy sauce and hot pepper sauce.

8Bring to a boil.

9Remove from heat. Stir in lime juice.

10Serve over rice.
