  • 2 1/4 pounds skirt steak, 1/4-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • Juice of 5 limes
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • Flour tortillas

Directions

    Pound steak to 1/8-inch thickness. Sprinkle both sides of steak with garlic salt and lime juice. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Drain well; discard marinade.

    Place steak on grill; cook over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes on each side, brushing with oil occasionally. Remove from grill, and cut into thin slices. Serve with flour tortillas, Pico de overnight. Yield: about 4 cups. Gallo, and Guacamole.
