  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 lb. bacon
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

    Combine first 5 ingredients and mix well.

    Shape into large patties.

    Wrap with bacon and secure with toothpick.

    Brown on both sides.

    Pour off drippings.

    Combine remaining ingredients with 1/2 cup water in bowl, blending well.

    Pour over meat.

    Cook, covered, over low heat until done or bake at 325° for 30 to 45 minutes.
