- 3/4 (200 g) sugar
- 1 1/2 c. less 2 Tbsp. (200 g) flour
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. sliced almonds
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Blend in vanilla and flour.

3Carefully fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

4Spread the batter evenly in a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

5Drizzle 2 tablespoons melted butter over batter.

6Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and sliced almonds.

7Bake in a hot 375° oven thirty minutes or until golden brown.
