  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 18 cup onions chopped
  • 18 cup scallions, spring or green onions chopped
  • 18 cup green bell peppers chopped
  • 4 each mushrooms sliced
  • 18 cup alfalfa sprouts

Directions

    Spread each pita bread half with tomato sauce.

    Sprinkle on the basil and oregano and add the toppings of your choice.

    Bake at 300F (150C).

    for 10 minutes, or heat in toaster oven for 5 minutes at 250 degrees setting.
