- 1 can chickpeas Garbanzos
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 garlic clove small, minced,, I use at least twice this amount and let the blender do the min
- 1 cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons parsley Minced, I don't use
- 1 tablespoon red onion Minced, I don't use
Directions

1Drain chickpeas, reserving juice.

2Do not rinse.

3Transfer peas to a food processor or blender and blend with 1/2 c reserved chickpea juice, lemon juice, cumin, garlic and cayenne.

4Add parsley and red onion and pulse briefly just to mix.
