  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 1/2 c. white syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 egg whites, beaten
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix sugar, water and syrup.

    Cook over medium heat to soft ball stage.

    Pour half over beaten egg whites and beat.

    Cook remaining mixture to hard ball stage.

    Add to egg white mixture. Add vanilla.

    Beat until mixture begins to harden.
  7. 7
    Add nuts. Drop by tablespoons onto wax paper.
