- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 2 teaspoons olive oil or canola oil
- 14 1/2 ounces diced tomatoes Italian, drained
- 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh basil minced, or 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1 pound walleye
- 4 ounces crumbled feta cheese
Directions

1In a saucepan, saute onion and garlic in oil until tender.

2Add tomatoes and basil.

3Bring to a boil.

4Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, for 5 min.

5Meanwhile, broil fish 4-6 inches from the heat for 5-6 minutes.

6Top each fillet with tomato mixture and cheese.

7Broil 5-7 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
