  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) jar mild picante sauce
  • 1 c. finely shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium chopped tomato
  • 1/4 c. sliced onions (optional)
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar
  • 1/3 c. sliced ripe olives
  • 1 (11 oz.) pkg. tortilla chips

Directions

    Microwave cream cheese in bowl 30 to 45 seconds or until softened; beat until smooth.

    Mix with 2/3 cup picante (maybe less, 1/2 cup).

    Spread evenly over bottom of serving plate.

    Sprinkle evenly with lettuce, tomato, cheese and olives.

    Drizzle on last of picante, if desired.

    It may be hot!

    Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 1/2 hour.
