- 5 to 6 yellow squash, sliced
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. picante sauce
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 2 c. crushed tortilla chips, divided
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Add squash and onions to boiling water; cook 10 minutes or until tender.

3Drain.

4Set aside.

5Put cheese, soup, picante sauce and seasoning in a pan on medium heat until cheese is melted.

6Mash squash and onions.

7Stir squash and 1 cup of chips into cheese.

8Spoon into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking dish.

9Sprinkle with rest of chips.

10Bake 30 minutes or until heated.

11Makes 12 servings.
