  • 3 c. ripe figs
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin

    Wash figs and dry well.

    Put through food chopper, using coarse blade, then measure.

    Mix figs, sugar and gelatin together in saucepan.

    Cook until thick, about 45 minutes, stirring often. Pour into jars and seal.

    Makes 2 pints.
