- 420 grams 1 pack of 5 figs
- 2 tsp -1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 Sugar (40% of the amount of figs)
Directions

1I used a pack of 5 ripe figs.

2Peel the skin and quarter.

3Place the figs from Step 2 into an enamel pot.

4Add the sugar and mix.

5Let sit for about 5 minutes, then turn on the heat.

6While Step 3 is heating, remove any scum from the surface, and mash the figs with the back of a ladle as the liquid boils down.

7Add the lemon juice and continue heating until thickened.

8Store in a sterilized jar.
