- 1 gal. figs
- 4 c. sugar (I use 5)
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Mix sugar and water until dissolved.

2Bring to a boil.

3Drop figs in, 2 to 3 at a time.

4Keep syrup boiling at all times.

5After all figs are in, boil 1 minute.

6Set off heat.
-
7Next day, boil 20 minutes.
-
8Set aside.
-
9Next day again cook for 20 minutes.
-
10Put into hot jars and seal.
-
11Makes 5 pints.
-
12Delicious.
