- 3 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
- 2 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. margarine, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1/4 c. hot water
Directions

1Melt chocolate. Cool. Sift flour, sugar, soda and salt into large bowl. Beat in sour cream and margarine; beat in eggs, one at a time. Blend almond extract, hot water and chocolate. Pour into greased and floured cake pans. Cook at 350° until done.
