- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. buttermilk
Directions

1Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Cut in shortening until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add buttermilk and mix just until dough is moistened.

2Knead on floured board for 3 to 5 minutes.

3Pat onto an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan.

4Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden.

5Cool for 10 minutes.

6Cut into pieces.
