Ingredients

  • 1 doz. live #1 crabs
  • 1 (6 oz.) can Old Bay
  • 8 Tbsp. crushed Italian red pepper
  • 4 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 c. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 c. white vinegar
  • 1 can beer
  • 1/4 c. cayenne pepper

Directions

    Bring 8 quarts water to boil.

    Add all ingredients above except crabs and 1/4 cup of Old Bay.

    Bring back to boil.

    Add live crabs to pot.

    Boil 30 minutes.

    Turn off heat and soak crabs in pot for 30 minutes.

    Remove from pot and sprinkle with remaining Old Bay.
