- 2 to 2 1/2 lb. beef stew meat
- 4 or 5 carrots, sliced
- 5 potatoes, cut into pieces
- 3 onions, chopped
- 1 can beef consomme
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- dash or so garlic powder
- 1 can (10 count) biscuits
Directions

1Do not brown meat.

2Place all ingredients, except biscuits, into a large casserole dish and blend well.

3Cover and bake for 3 to 4 hours at 300°.

4When meat is tender, increase heat to 400° and top stew with biscuits.

5Bake for 10 minutes, until golden brown.
