  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 c. milk (1/2 Pet and 1/2 water)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 egg yolks
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Mix flour, cocoa, sugar and salt.

    Mix egg yolks and milk together; add to dry ingredients.

    Cook in double boiler until mixture is thick.

    Remove from heat.

    Add butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pastry shell and top with meringue.
