- 1 lb. cut up fish
- 6 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. water (may need more)
- 2 c. diced potatoes
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- bay leaf, crumbled (to taste)
- 1 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- chopped parsley
- 2 c. whole milk (can increase)
Directions

1Fry the bacon until crisp; crumble.

2Brown the onion and celery in the bacon grease until tender.

3Put everything together except for the milk.

4Cover and cook until the potatoes are tender (15 to 20 minutes).

5Add milk; heat and serve.
