  • 1 lb. fish fillets
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped green peppers
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 stalk celery
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 8 oz. can stewed tomatoes, cut

    Heat oven to 350°.

    In medium skillet, cook green pepper, onion and celery in butter until tender.

    Stir in rest of ingredients.

    Mix well.

    Pour tomato mix over fillets.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until fish is tender.
