- 1 (16 oz.) can mackerel, cut into chunks
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 6 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 (16 oz.) cans tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 to 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 6 eggs
Directions

1Cook onions and potatoes until almost done.

2Drain excess liquid, leaving enough to cover vegetables.

3Add mackerel, tomatoes and seasonings.

4Bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat.

6Stir. Crack open eggs and drop in a circle in stew.

7Do not stir! Simmer 20 minutes.

8Serve hot.
