  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3 c. cake flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. each of butter, coconut, vanilla, lemon and rum extracts

    Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs; add to mixture.

    Mix baking powder and flour together. Add dry mixture alternately with milk.

    Stir in flavorings.

    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
