- 2 lb. stew meat
- 4 carrots, quartered
- 2 potatoes, cut in chunks
- 2 ribs celery, cut in chunks
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice
Directions

1Put vegetables and meat in heavy skillet, casserole or Dutch oven with tight lid.

2Sprinkle tapioca and salt over vegetables and meat.

3Pour V-8 juice over all; cook at 250° for 5 hours.

4Do not remove lid until 5 hours are up!
