  • 1 1/2 lb. stew meat
  • 6 potatoes, cut in half
  • 3 carrots, cut in 2-inch pieces
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 can mushroom soup (undiluted)
  • 1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
  • 1 can peas (juice and all)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Put in layers, starting with the meat, into a casserole dish or pan.

    Bake 5 hours at 325°, covered.
