- 4 or 5 raw potatoes, sliced
- 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 qt. whole tomatoes
- salt and pepper
- 1 lb. raw ground beef
- 1/2 c. Minute rice, uncooked
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- green pepper (optional)
Directions

1Butter a deep baking dish.

2Then start at the bottom and arrange in layers.

3First potatoes, then the ground beef, onions, green pepper if used, uncooked rice and tomatoes.

4Season each layer, cover and bake for 2 hours at 300°.

5Parmesan cheese may be used on top.
