- 1/2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 c. warm water
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. melted shortening
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 10 c. flour
Directions

1Mix the yeast, sugar and warm water; let stand 15 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients.

2Mix together; knead into a soft dough, barely holding its shape.

3Punch down every hour until 10 o'clock (5 P.M. to 10 P.M.).

4Shape and place on greased pans. Cover with cloth and plastic bag.

5Bake early next morning at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.

6Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
