- 6 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Combine sugar, milk, syrup and butter in saucepan.

2Cook without stirring until mix reaches 240° on candy thermometer, or forms soft ball in cold water (about 25 minutes).

3This scorches easily so watch carefully.

4Remove from heat; beat with electric mixer until creamy, about 10 minutes.

5Stir in walnuts.

6Pour into a buttered 10 x 15-inch pan.

7Let stand until set.

8Cut into pieces; store in refrigerator.
