  • 4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 3/4 c. margarine
  • 3/4 c. milk

    Mix dry ingredients.

    Add butter, milk and egg.

    Knead on floured surface.

    Roll out to desired thickness.

    Cut with biscuit cutter.

    Place biscuits on greased cookie sheet, 1-inch apart. Bake at 425° for 10 to 15 minutes.
