- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. milk
Directions

1Stir together dry ingredients.

2Cut in shortening to size of coarse crumbs.

3Add milk all at once.

4Stir with fork until dough clings together.

5Knead dough on lightly floured surface 10 to 12 strokes.

6Roll or pat dough to 1/2-inch thickness.

7Cut with biscuit cutter.

8Place on ungreased baking sheet.

9Bake at 450° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
