  • 19 ounces jar morello cherries or 19 ounces bing cherries, drained
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons dark rum

Directions

    melt the butter in a skillet.

    Saute the cherries and sugar in the butter over high heat for 2 minutes.

    add the rum and flambe immediately.

    Reduce for 1 minute.

    Serve hot over ice-cream.
