- 3 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 c. dark rum
- 3 medium to large bananas, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. brandy or rum
Directions

1Put butter and brown sugar into chafing dish or 8-inch skillet.

2Heat, stirring, until sugar and butter are combined. Add 1/4 cup dark rum.

3Slice bananas into pan and simmer 7 or 8 minutes.

4Heat 2 tablespoons of brandy or rum in a large spoon. Ignite and turn into pan.

5Stir gently until flame burns out. Serve at once over hard-frozen vanilla ice cream.
