- 1 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Knead until smooth.

2Divide into 8 balls and knead each ball until smooth and round.

3With a rolling pin, flatten each until 1/4-inch thick and about 4 or 5-inches in diameter.

4Cover with a towel and let rise 45 minutes.

5Arrange the rounds upside down on baking sheet.

6Bake at 500° for 10 to 15 minutes or until brown and puffed in center.

7The breads will be hard when they come from oven, but will soften and flatten when cool.
