Florida Fish Chowder

- 2 slices bacon
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. hot water
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 1 lb. fish fillets
- 2 c. half cream and milk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
Directions

1Fry bacon and remove.

2Add onion to drippings.

3Saute until lightly browned.

4You may add chopped bacon to chowder if you desire.

5Add water and potatoes.

6Cook until potatoes are almost done.

7Cut fillets into pieces, approximately 1-inch square.

8Add fish to mixture and cook until fish flakes when tested with fork. Pour in milk and seasonings.

9Heat and serve.
