  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 1/4 c. canned pumpkin
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger
  • 3 eggs, partially beaten

Directions

    Blend sugar and spices.

    Stir pumpkin and beaten eggs into sugar mixture. Add milk, stirring well.

    Pour into pie shell and bake at 425° for 20 minutes. Lower oven temperature to 350°.
