Food Processor Biscuits

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 stick margarine, chilled and cut in slices
- 3/4 c. cold buttermilk
Directions

1Place blade attachment in food processor bowl.

2Add flour and margarine pieces.

3Pulse processor on and off several times to cut margarine into flour.

4Mixture should resemble coarse crumbs. With food processor running, pour cold buttermilk through chute into bowl.

5Continue processing for a few seconds until well combined and dough pulls away from sides of bowl to form a ball. Place dough on floured surface.

6Knead 5 or 6 times and roll to 3/4-inch thickness.

7Cut with floured cutter and place on lightly greased baking sheet.

8(I use nonstick spray.)

9Place in preheated oven.

10Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

11Makes one dozen.
