Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. (2 sticks) margarine
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 3/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips, butterscotch or peanut butter chips

Directions

    In heavy saucepan mix sugar, butter, marshmallows and milk. Place on low heat.

    After mixture comes to a boil, cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat; add chips, nuts and vanilla.

    Stir until chips are melted.

    Pour into buttered dish; cut when cool.
