- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 dash salt
- 1 12 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 12-1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions

1Line an 8-or-9 inch square pan with aluminum foil.

2Butter foil.

3Set aside.

4In a heavy saucepan, melt chips with condensed milk and salt.

5Remove from heat.

6Stir in vanilla and nuts, if desired.

7Spread evenly into prepared pan.

8Chill 2 hours or until firm.

9Turn fudge onto cutting board.

10Peel off foil and cut into squares.

11Store covered in refrigerator.

12For marshmallow fudge: Omit nuts.

13Stir 2 tablespoons butter in with vanilla.

14Fold in 2 cups mini marshmallows.

15Proceed as above.
