- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- salt
- 3 egg whites
- 6 Tbsp. sugar
Directions

1Mix cornstarch, water and 2 tablespoons sugar; cook together until clear, then set aside.

2Add a bit of salt to egg whites and whip until foamy or standing in peaks, at which time add the cornstarch mixture.

3Continue beating until creamy, then add 6 tablespoons sugar gradually, beating until very creamy.

4Pile on pie and brown at 325°.
