- 4 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 3/4 c. shortening
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
Directions

1With fork, mix flour, shortening, sugar and salt.

2In another bowl beat vinegar, egg and water.

3Combine two mixtures with fork until all ingredients are moistened.

4Will be somewhat soggy until mixed for awhile until it forms into a ball.

5Chill at least 15 minutes before rolling.

6May be kept in refrigerator up to 3 days or frozen until ready to use.

7Makes 2 (9-inch) double crust pies and 1 (9-inch) shell.
