Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 6 Tbsp. shortening
- 7 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon sugar.

2Scald milk and remove from heat.

3Add shortening, sugar and salt.

4Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast, eggs and 2 cups flour.

5Beat well.

6Add remaining flour or enough to make soft dough.

7Knead lightly and place in a greased bowl.

8Cover and set in a warm place to rise.

9Let rise to double in bulk.

10Punch down and shape into rolls.
