  • 1 lb. ground chuck
  • 1 medium to large onion
  • medium jar Ortega chunk salsa
  • 1 pkg. medium flour tortillas
  • 1 pkg. medium corn tortillas
  • 1 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 1 can Ortega green chilies, diced
  • grated mild Cheddar cheese (3 c.)
  • cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions

    In iron skillet, braise the onion and green chilies (drained) and remove from heat.

    Cook ground chuck and add 1/2 jar salsa just before meat is done; save the other half.
