- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 6 oz. candied cherries
- 6 oz. candied pineapple
- 1 lb. pecans
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add beaten eggs, then 3 cups of flour, sifted with baking powder and salt.

3Mix remaining flour with cherries, pineapple and broken pecans.

4Stir into batter. Add vanilla. Pour into greased tube cake pan that has been lined with brown paper.

5Bake at 250° for 3 hours.

6Let cool in pan before you take it up.
