- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple
- 1 lb. pecans
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add beaten eggs.

3Add 3 cups flour that has been sifted with baking powder and salt.

4Mix remaining flour with cherries, pineapple and chopped pecans.

5Stir into batter.

6Add vanilla.

7Pour into a greased tube pan.

8Bake in a very slow oven at 250° for 3 hours.

9Allow to cool in pan.
