- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/3 c. milk
- 1 c. shortening
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients and cut in shortening.

2Add milk.

3Mix. Roll out dough and cut out biscuits.

4Place on baking sheet for 30 minutes to freeze.

5When frozen, put in a freezer bag.

6When ready to bake, place on baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 450°. Yields 2 dozen biscuits.
