  • 1 package beef-tomato freezer mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 package lasagna noodles
  • 1 package cottage cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 cups swiss cheese shredded
  • 13 cup parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated grated

Directions

    Heat oven to 350F (180C).

    In ungreased baking pan, 13x9x2 inches, or baking dish, 11 3/4x7 1/2x1 3/4 inches, layer half each of the noodles, meat sauce, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese; repeat.

    Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top.

    Bake uncovered until hot and bubbly, about 40 minutes.

    Dip container of frozen mix into hot water just to loosen.

    In 2-quart saucepan, heat frozen mix, oregano leaves, parsley and water to boiling.

    Reduce heat; cover and simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently.

    Uncover and simmer, stirring occasionally, until mix is thawed.
