Ingredients

  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. celery seed
  • 4 c. broccoli flowerets
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and shredded
  • 1/2 c. sweet red pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp. salt (add salt to vinegar mixture)
  • 4 c. cauliflower flowerets
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 medium onion, chopped

Directions

    Combine white vinegar, sugar, water and celery seed in saucepan.

    Bring to a boil.

    Stir occasionally.

    Remove from heat and cool.

    Put broccoli and other ingredients in a bowl.

    Add the vinegar mixture and toss.

    Makes 4 (1 pints) or 8 cups.

    Put this in refrigerator for 8 hours before serving.

    Can freeze for 1 month and take out and let thaw before serving.
